Lozwott Observatory is an under construction amateur observatory in Rural Central Missouri – on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks!

The observatory is being built by myself (Rett) and my wife, Tiffanie Walters at their full time Lake home, with a little help from their friends.

I am an avid amateur astronomer and have been using telescopes for visual astronomy since the 7th grade. Having a permanent observatory has been a life-long desire. As a technologist by profession, I have grand plans for Lozwott, eventually culminating in a fully online facility that can be controlled remotely for observing and photography year-round.

This site will become an information source on the construction and eventually the astronomical output of the facility.
